iPhone still have Alarm Problems

Some iPhone users are reporting that one-off alarms are still not working on the device, despite reports that the New Year alarm bug should fix itself on 3 January.

However, other users said that their alarms were now working correctly after failing to go off on 1 and 2 January.

9To5Mac reported over the weekend that the problem would right itself on 3 January and that it had received reports that the bug was occurring on older versions of iOS such as 4.0.2, as well as on the most recent version, 4.2.1.

Here, designer Umang Dokey has taken inspiration from the same approach and made a concept tablet that runs on Windows Phone 7 OS. The Tablet has a 8-inch capacitive touch screen, 2 web cams for 3D video calling, an in-built stand and a keyboard.

Geinimi virus infects Android Devices

The ‘Geinimi’ virus is currently kicking Android around in China, and is stealing personal user information from the host device. The trojan disguises itself as a legitimate application such as Monkey Jump 2, Sex Positions, President vs. Aliens, City Defense and Baseball Superstars 2010 but also contains the malicious code.

Google doodle took five artists six months to create

Before most of us were even thinking about Christmas, a team at Google was working on the unique doodle that appeared on the search engine’s front page for just over two days from December 23.

Google chief doodler – that’s his actual title – Micheal Lopez spoke to the Wall Street Journal about the extraordinary amount of work that went into this year’s holiday doodle. In previous years, Google’s festive logo has been a single image, but in 2010 Mr Lopez, who took on his role about 18 months ago, wanted to ”end the year with a bang”.
