Microsoft announces Windows Phone 7.1 – MANGO
Microsoft announced Windows Phone 7.1 (codenamed Mango) on 24th May 2011 and it previewed it. Microsoft says this new Windows Phone 7.1 comes with over 500 new features. They call this an update not Windows Phone 8. The Mango update is available soon to existing Windows Phone 7 customers for free and the New phones will start to ship after this fall.
Microsoft announced new OEM partners are Acer, Fujitsu and ZTE and also Nokia. Samsung, HTC and LG are already on existing manufacturers and Dell is not mentioned anywhere. Now Microsoft Windows Phone Market place is full of more than 17,000 apps available till date, in future it will be crossed more over. This update comes with additional languages like Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Greek, Hungarian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, and Swedish.
Beta release of free Windows Phone Developer tools are used to create the Mango update apps and games and public download of the developer tools are available for download.

Microsoft is pretty weak in my opinion…there is no way they are going to compete with Android and Apple. Even the stuff that is “kinda cool” is already on most Android or iPhones.
Let us see after the update in Mobile Giant NOKIA…
Mango…………….. quite different and unique too! Hope to seen it soon out for sale or already released?
