How to Import / Export Bookmarks In Google Chrome
Google have a option to sign you into a chrome browser with the google account. This makes you to access your browser data such as bookmarks, history and settings on all your devices just simply by login with same Google Account. You may add more than one account in browser and can make a switch if required.
If you have multiple accounts within chrome browser as you create a another new account for whatever reason, or you are having two accounts – Primary and Secondary or one may be personal and another be official or it may be of any case. Your bookmark datas are stored only in the Primary account which you used to save the bookmarks earlier.
If you wish to have all your previous bookmarks into a new account, its not an easy job to create all the bookmarks manually under newly created account or secondary Google Account.

Open the chrome browser and do confirm that your browser is login with the Google Account from which you want to import the Bookmarks.
Steps to Import / Export Bookmarks from Google Account.
Export Bookmarks from Old / Primary Google Account.
Menu -> Bookmarks -> Bookmark Manager
- Now your browser display the Bookmark Manager. In that click the Organize menu and choose “Export Bookmark to HTML file“.
- Dialog Box opens and asks you to save the bookmark as html file. Give appropriate name as your wish and save it to the desired location.
The export process completed now! You have crossed half way of the process.
Import Bookmarks to new Google Account.
In the previous section you have exported the bookmarks from your old / primary account. Now you have to import the exported bookmarks into your new account.
If you have already added the account to the browser, just switch the account of the browser by clicking the User button available at the top most right corner and select “Switch Person” option.
After that, choose the required google account where you want to import your bookmarks.
If you doesn’t added the account to chrome, make a click over Add Person and Login with your google account where you want to make an import.
As above mentioned, in similar way open the Bookmark Manager of this account.
Click on the organise Menu and select “Import Bookmarks from HTML file” and then locate Html file, you saved earlier at the time of exporting.
Now you can see the imported bookmarks in Bookmark Manager of your new Google account.

Is it possible to export/import bookmark from IE
1.Close any other browsers that are open.
2.Open Google Chrome.
3.Click the Chrome menu Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.
4.Select Bookmarks.
5.Click Import bookmark and settings.
6.In the “Import bookmarks and settings” dialog that appears, select the application that contains the settings you’d like to import.
7.Click Import.
