The famous blogging platform WordPress.com says goodbye to Internet Explorer 6. WordPress said in the statement that they stop the support to Internet Explorer 6 which is 10 years old browser and it is due to complex code trickery was one of the main determinants in taking this decision. You can access the WordPress Admin Dashboard in Internet Explorer 6 but it won’t work perfectly.

Users are requested to update to new Internet Explorer version because in IE6 web browser they can’t Browse happily. More over WordPress.com made another addition in their services like free-writing mode and redesigned in the dashboard area. This new features will be available in WordPress 3.2 beta which is available for download, and the full version will be available in June of this year. Self hosted WordPress sites also avail this feature in WordPress 3.2 Version.

I would hate to work for WordPress and have to put up with IE6 for so long. I personally dropped support for this thing over a year ago. Awful browser (by todays standards).

yes, IE6 is no more, as it has shows some bugs, if we use our dashboard, sometimes it overlaps the screen options and to overcome this problem IE6 users must update there browsers to upgraded version. 🙂
