iPad Killer

Few months ago, I read a quarter pager article in a leading national daily about a soon to be released tablet PC which was slotted as an “iPad Kllier”. Now, we see and read many such articles all over the internet. iPod Killer, iPhone Killer, iTunes Killer etc. I didn’t take this article too seriously however, the name got stuck in my mind “Adam” by Notionink.

I did google it up for more information, first impressions, NOT GOOD. I closed the browser and forgot about it. Then, one fine January morning, Adam was all over the place yet again, this time for good. Adam won rave reviews in CES 2011. It was officially acknowledged by leading industry experts to be a potential threat to Apple iPad.

However, with iPad2 hitting the markets next week. Looks like Adam has to come out with whole lots of innovation and strong marketing strategy to become “iPad2 killer”. As of “iPad killing” it has already lost the opportunity for a real time face-off. It will be interesting to see how Notionink will go about the new challenge.
