New Update is now rolling over facebook. I got this update few dates before. THE NEW PHOTO VIEWER, yes Facebook have introduced new Photo Viewer. So You can Get the Light Weighted Popup when u browse photos in facebook. You don’t need to leave the current page and go to new page to view the photos anymore. You can See the photos without going to photos page. This Update gives faster speed in viewing photos. So It takes less time to browse the photos. We hope this update will come to all within two weeks.
They are increasing the size of the photos stored from 720 pixels to 2048 pixels on the largest edge, for an 8 times increase overall.
