At the Verizon press conference, HTC’s Thuderbolt was officially launched. The Thunderbolt is HTC’s first LTE device and has been described as “blazing” fast. The Thunderbolt does not use Nvidia’s dual-core Tegra processor, instead it runs on a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, which is a bit of a disappointment, but the smartphone is said to be perfectly responsive with no disruptive lags.
