The Best Upcoming Xbox 360 Games in 2013
It’s hard to believe the Xbox 360 has been with us for eight years. In those years, some of the most successful games of all time have been released but there’s still life in the console as this run-down of 2013’s best Xbox games shows:
Grand Theft Auto V
Probably the biggest and most eagerly anticipated release of 2013; Grand Theft Auto V is scheduled to hit shops in late summer/early autumn. This time, the action takes place in Los Santos and gameplay will feature the ability to switch between several characters. Each character has different personalities and interests and will react differently to situations, opening up gameplay possibilities even further. Instead of just exploring urban areas, the gamer will be able to travel around coastal areas, the American wilderness and mountain regions.
GTA V boasts more vehicles than any of the previous games in the series and the developers promise that cars will handle better than ever. This means the driving segments of the game will feel more like an actual racing game than previously. Missions promise to be more diverse than ever before, creating hours of exciting gameplay, so the 2013 flagship game is likely to be top of the best-seller charts for a long while after release.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag
Due for release this autumn, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is the latest in the Assassin’s Creed series of games. While recent releases in the series have been slightly disappointing for critics and gamers alike, this new incarnation promises to liven things up again. In Black Flag, players take on the character of Edward Kenway, the father of Haytham. The action takes place in the cities of Nassau, Kingston and Hanava and the game boasts a mutli-player mode. With around 50 different locations for the gamer to explore, across land and sea, the game promises to offer hours of gameplay.
Players can expect more freedom than in previous Assassin’s Creed games and a much improved ship which can be upgraded at certain points throughout the game. If you’re asking yourself ‘Is it time to sell my Xbox 360?’ with details of the Xbox One just released, this game may persuade you to hold onto the console for a bit longer yet. With the huge titles scheduled for release over the coming months, demand for the Xbox is set to hit new heights.
Batman: Arkham Origins
Another autumn release, Batman: Arkham Origins is another eagerly anticipated game in the Xbox 2013 line-up. Warner Brothers have taken over the development from Rocksteady for this Batman prequel which will see the player battle enemies such as Deathstroke. While much of the gameplay is expected to be similar to previous Batman titles, the gamer will have new gadgets and weapons in their arsenal. The game offers the player the chance to use their detective skills and solve crimes. Batman will be able to scan the scene of a crime using his special vision and the player has to spot clues, some of which will be real and some false. With the mixture of fun new graphics and challenging puzzle solving, Batman: Arkham Origins promises varied and exciting gameplay.
Hope you all are waiting for the release of these games, mean while drop your favorite game which you want this year.
