Is it really worth Upgrading Ubuntu 14.10?

As this version came with minimal updates and the support time is also very short, in my view I’m not interested in upgrading ubuntu 14.04 to 14.10 as a desktop user. If you are a developer or a geek then surely Ubuntu 14.10 will make some sense in upgrading.
