Today Google made a surprise move that Google shutdown its Real time search feature because the agreement between Google and Twitter social network is expired. The Google’s Real time search feature was used to search tweets and other updates in all social network sites. Now the Google shows 404 error page in Real time search page.

Google’s Real time Twitter also tweeted a message about the shutdown. See screen shot of the tweet below

Google says

‘They are disabled temporarily Real time search, and they are exploring how to incorporate Google+ into this functionality, so stay tuned’.

Google did not given any reason why the agreement with twitter was not extended.
