Google launches Map Maker in United States

Google announced Google Map Maker, a product that people can add mark and update the map of locations worldwide, allowed only for US peoples. In some days it will allowed to do in all over the world. Prior to Map Maker, Google says that only 15 percent of the world’s population has detailed online maps of their neighborhood.

Google Says:

“Today we’re opening the map of the United States in Google Map Maker for you to add your expert local knowledge directly,” a Google spokesperson said in a statement. “You know your neighborhood or hometown best, and with Google Map Maker you can ensure the places you care about are richly represented on the map. For example, you can fix the name of your local pizza parlor, or add a description of your favorite book store.”

Map Maker allows users to create and edit maps in 183 countries and regions worldwide so this can increase to 30% of adding new city networks of roads, bike paths, schools and universities that are not already registered online . Contributions will be available in Google Maps and Google Earth integration, so millions of people who use these products in the world and enjoy.
